Past President Returns to the Board

The PAEA Board of Directors has called upon a past president to fill a recently vacated director at large position. Constance Goldgar, MS, PA-C, PAEA’s president in 2013, has stepped in to fill the director at large role previously held by Harry Pomeranz, MSPH, PA-C, who resigned due to competing commitments. She will serve in this position until the end of 2017. In the meantime, an additional director at large spot has been added to the annual 2018 Board of Directors’ call, which is currently open until June 2.

When a Board vacancy occurs mid-term, it is the policy of PAEA to fill that position with the first available past president. Having had previous Board experience allows that person to get up to speed as quickly as possible.

As we welcome Connie back to the Board, we would like to thank Harry for his thoughtful perspective, unique contributions, and hard work during his 2-1/2 years of service on the Board of Directors.
