What is the PAEA Education Forum?
The PAEA Education Forum is an annual event held each fall, designed to serve PA educators in every discipline of the profession. The event offers educational sessions, inspiring keynote presentations, and the opportunity for attendees to connect with colleagues from across the nation.
In 2020, we hosted the first ever virtual PAEA Education Forum. While we missed meeting in person, the sense of community and camaraderie that defines the Forum was as strong as ever. Whether we meet in person or virtually, gathering and learning together remains essential. As we plan for the 2021 PAEA Education Forum, we are dedicated to keeping our members safe while providing the best experience possible.
When will the 2021 PAEA Education Forum take place?
We have not announced the dates or format of the 2021 PAEA Education Forum. We expect to announce details later this Spring.
Why should you attend the Education Forum?
Community is a cornerstone of the PAEA Education Forum experience. Year after year, our members tell us one of the best aspects of the Forum is the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of supportive colleagues.
Expect to find timely information on the most important topics such as: creating a more diverse and equitable program, embracing new technology, moving toward competency-based education, and tools and strategies needed to excel in your work.
PAEA Education Forum features powerful keynote presentations led by nationally recognized thought leaders, such as Angela Duckworth, Dr. Bertice Berry, John O’Leary and more.
Attendees have the opportunity to earn Category 1 AAPA CME credit by attending Forum sessions, whether in person or virtually.
How do I become a Forum presenter?
The deadline to submit a proposal for the 2021 Education Forum has passed.
How can I serve as a Forum proposal reviewer?
Each year, PA educators have a unique opportunity to help shape the Forum by participating as a conference proposal reviewer. By participating as a reviewer, members gain knowledge and experience while helping determine the most high-quality, rigorous, and relevant sessions for the annual conference.
Reviewers participate in a blinded peer-review of all Forum research and education session proposals based on their area(s) of experience.
The deadline to submit an application to participate as a reviewer for the 2021 Education Forum has passed. The application opens at the beginning of each year and the review period occurs in the Spring.
