PAEA Board of Directors Call for Nominations Now Open

PAEA is seeking PA faculty and a student leader to join the Board of Directors in 2020. Board membership is the highest level of service to PAEA. As a member of the Board, you will have the opportunity to help the Association chart its course in a changing world by bringing your insight and experience to bear on the major issues in PA education and the profession.

President elect and three director at large seats will be voted on in the 2019 election, and the student member at large position is also open. The call for nominations is now open.

At its meeting during Leadership Week, the Board voted to extend the term of one director at large by one year. This change was made to better stagger the six director at large positions on the Board, since these were extended to three years at the 2018 Business Meeting, and to reduce turnover next year when the Association will also have a new CEO.

Please consider nominating yourself or encouraging a colleague to run for the Board. Also, think about an outstanding student whom you might encourage to apply for the student member at large position, which comes up for selection every two years.

Candidates who will enhance the diversity of the Board are strongly encouraged to apply. The application deadline is May 20.
