PAs (physician associates/physician assistants) are licensed clinicians who practice medicine in every specialty and setting. PAs have more than 500 million patient interactions per year. Trusted, rigorously educated and trained healthcare professionals, PAs are dedicated to expanding access to care and transforming health and wellness through patient-centered, team-based medical practice.

PA Student Success:

PAEA PA Student Success is a recruitment program that aims to encourage K-12 students from all backgrounds and regions to consider the PA profession as a career. Our primary goal is to increase the number of qualified PAs across the country, provide primary care, and increase the overall health of the growing patient population. We aim to help students become competitive candidates for PA programs by preparing them early in their education.

Objectives:

  • PAEA PA Student Success is a program geared toward exposing K-12 students to the PA profession.
  • PAEA PA Student Success will disclose federally funded programs and resources to students to finance their decision of attending PA school.
  • PAEA PA Student Success will dispel misconceptions of the PA profession by partnering with local PAs or PA students who will share their lived experience.

Distribute this survey to the students you present to at your event so we can collect national feedback.

PA/Student Facilitator Survey

Both the PAs and PA students involved in facilitating the event should complete this survey to provide feedback on your experience hosting a PA Student Success event.
