Webinar: An Overview of Expanding Access to Naloxone

On Tuesday, September 29, at 1:00 p.m. ET, join the FDA’s Division of Drug Information for a webinar to discuss the FDA’s work on increasing access to naloxone for opioid overdose. 

Specifically, the webinar will cover: 

• What naloxone is, how it works, and the availability of products for treatment of acute opioid overdose 
• Steps the FDA has taken to encourage prescribers to discuss naloxone with patients 
• The FDA’s work to support the development of an over-the-counter naloxone product 

This free session is eligible for 1.00 hour of AAPA Category 1 CME credit. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
