Sex and Gender in Health Care
On Tuesday, April 23, at 1:00 p.m. ET, join staff from FDA’s Office of Women’s Health for a webinar on sex and gender influences in various areas of health care. This webinar will provide an overview of current regulatory practice regarding the consideration of sex differences, the importance of the Sex as a Biological Variable (SABV) initiative, and future opportunities to further integrate SABV through collaboration in regulatory, research, and clinical care environments.
Specifically, the webinar will cover:
- The role of the Office of Women’s Health
- Integration of SABV into — and its role within — the regulatory environment
- Future areas for collaboration and funding opportunities to expand and disseminate SABV
This free session will be presented by a senior regulatory research officer and an associate director in the office of medication error prevention and risk management. Additionally, it is eligible for 1.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credit.
