Looking Ahead to Healthy People 2030
On Thursday, June 22, US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, along with the American Public Health Association, will host a webinar to discuss the development of the Healthy People 2030 initiative.
Specifically, the webinar will cover how to use Healthy People 2020 to promote public health, how to recognize the progress toward Healthy People goals, and an overview of the development of the Healthy People 2030 framework.
The presenters will be:
- Nico Pronk, PhD, MA, vice president for health management and chief science officer of HealthPartners
- Therese S. Richmond, PhD, professor of nursing and associate dean for research and innovation at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing
- Don Wright, MD, MPH, acting US assistant secretary for health
- Carter Blakey, deputy director of the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion
