Coming Soon: 2 PAEA Student Fellowships
On Monday, May 9, we’ll begin accepting applications for our two student fellowships:
Student Health Policy Fellowship
The Student Health Policy Fellowship will bring participants to Washington, D.C., for three days in September 2016. Students will learn from advocacy experts about how to make an impact on legislation, and they’ll gain firsthand experience by meeting elected officials and staffers on Capitol Hill.
“This has been the most incredible experience. I never thought that as a PA student I would be able to go to Capitol Hill and have the tools to talk to members of Congress about the issues that matter to me and the PA profession. I am truly grateful to have been able to take part in this experience.”
— 2015 Fellow Duncan Daviau, MCPHS University
Future Educator Fellowship
Students interested in a career in PA education selected for the Future Educator Fellowship will attend the Education Forum in Minneapolis this October. They’ll take part in a special track of education sessions geared toward future PA educators and be able to network with educators from around the country.
“It was like [the educators at the Forum] were one big family and openly welcomed us.”
— 2015 Fellow Justin Bynum, Mississippi College
