Bushardt Leaves Board; Bowser Returns

PAEA Director at Large Reamer Bushardt, PharmD, PA-C, has stepped down from the PAEA Board of Directors. In an encore return to the Board, former Past President Jonathan Bowser, MS, PA-C, will complete the remainder of Bushardt’s term through December 31, 2021.
In accordance with PAEA Bylaws, the Board exercised its authority to “fill a vacancy in any PAEA office” and adhered to the precedent of nominating a recent past president. Bowser served as PAEA president in 2019 and past president in 2020, and PAEA is pleased to welcome him back to the Board.
A new director at large will serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2022, following the Board of Directors election held in conjunction with the Education Forum in October. The call for nominations to the 2022 PAEA Board of Directors closes on June 18, 2021.
