Announcing the Membership Market Survey
According to Forbes Magazine, empathy is the most important skill for leaders today. Empathy is the ability to understand the needs of others—which is essential for any organization that wants to remain relevant in today’s competitive market.
That’s why PAEA is launching a campaign to better understand members’ needs and wants. The Association strives to serve its members through the resources, services, and volunteer opportunities it provides. I won’t stop until members feel like their PAEA membership is one that they can’t live without; if members don’t feel that PAEA is that important, we have work to do.
As the first step in the launch of our listening campaign, we will administer a membership market survey. A lot has changed since the COVID-19 pandemic, so we can’t assume that we know the challenges our members are facing. It’s essential that we create dedicated opportunities to check in directly with members to understand the realities of today’s PA education environment rather than making educated assumptions.
With 300 PA programs, the membership market survey will enable PAEA to gather input from all members quickly and easily. This direct input will allow us to be precise in our planning and leverage our human and financial resources in the best way possible.
The membership market survey will launch on November 2. Members will have three weeks to complete the survey and submit their results before the survey closes on November 23.
I hope all members will take a few minutes to respond to the survey because it will provide us with the insights and information we need to prioritize which tools, resources, and services we invest in over the Association’s next 50 years.
