Action Collaborative Takes Aim at Opioid Epidemic

On Wednesday, February 13, at 4:00 p.m. ET, join the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) for a webinar that will introduce the Action Collaborative on Countering the U.S. Opioid Epidemic.

The Action Collaborative is a new partnership between NAM and more than 50 other organizations that is working to combat the national prevalence of opioid use disorder through its four working groups, each of which is dedicated to one of the following areas:

• Education and training for health care professionals
• Opioid prescribing guidelines and evidence standards
• Prevention, treatment, and recovery for patients
• Research, data, and key metrics to inform best practices
