Your Chance to Be a Change Agent

The American Medical Association (AMA) is accepting presentation submissions for ChangeMedEd 2017, a “national conference bringing together innovators from medical and health professions education, health systems, and related fields to transform the way future physicians are trained.”

The theme of this year’s ChangeMedEd is innovations for the future of medical schools. Presentations can be in one of three formats:

  • Change stories: 20-minute inspirational insights
  • Challenge rounds: 20-minute facilitated scenarios on implementing change in schools
  • Transformation workshops: 45-minute interactive sessions related to medical education

In addition, submissions must adhere to one of six predetermined topics ranging from the integration of medical education and health systems to the needs of 21st century learners.

More information about all of the topics, as well as information about how to apply, is available on the AMA’s conference website. Applications are due by April 1.
