Version 5 of End of Rotation Exams Coming Soon
On Friday evening, July 7, we will publish Version 5 of our End of Rotation™ exams!
While there won’t be any substantive updates to Blueprints or Topic Lists, there are some other exciting changes in this version:
- For the first time, we will have THREE forms available for our most popular exam – Family Medicine (FM). This will provide an option for programs with two FM rotations, while still having a new form for retesting.
- We have transitioned all items to the Eighth Joint National Committee (JNC8) Hypertension Management Guidelines.
- And, as your students may have noticed, we now have accessibility controls within the ExamDriver platform. These features allow examinees to zoom in on the exam text and invert colors, both for easier reading and to deter students from using browser controls and keyboard shortcuts that might trigger alerts.
Any End of Rotation exam administered on or after July 8, 2017, will be Version 5, regardless of when you purchased the exams. If you would like to administer any Version 4 End of Rotation exams, please do so on or before July 7, as Version 4 forms will no longer be available once Version 5 forms have been released.
