Update on the Assessment Transition

In July 2022, PAEA Assessment announced a delay in the launch of our next-generation exam platform. As we’ve now entered a new year, we wanted to update our members on our progress. While we are not ready to announce a release date yet, we assure you the development process is nearing completion and rigorous testing is being conducted. The intentional and careful pace at which we navigate through this process exemplifies that PAEA is committed to providing a finished product that adds value to your Assessment experience and membership.   

Once the development process is finished and we are confident of the remaining production timeline, we will begin a steady roll out of more information regarding the launch date and various training resources for the next-generation platform. PAEA is sensitive that programs need sufficient time to adjust to this new platform, then subsequently review and consider their own practices and policies.   

For now, exam users will continue to schedule and administer exams through ExamDriver with all current features and capabilities remaining the same. Although new End of Rotation exams will not be released until the next-generation platform is launched, it’s important to note that new version 27 PACKRAT exams are already available in ExamDriver. Keep an eye out for forthcoming announcements in the Assessment Transition Center as well as in the Networker. We thank you for your patience and support as we look ahead to this exciting transition.
