Take a Test Drive on the Public Health Fast Track
Want to take part in a novel and interesting experiment? It might even boost your academic career.
The National Board of Public Health Examiners is looking for volunteers to participate in a pilot program for the Certified in Public Health exam. They are trying to determine whether the knowledge tested by the CPH exam can be acquired through work experience and/or other degrees — so a significant number of volunteers are needed.
Individuals who do not have an accredited public health degree but do have at least five years public health work experience will be eligible to sit for the CPH exam, to be given in October.
Not only will you learn something about yourself, you’ll help discover whether/how much PA faculty with public health degrees benefit the PA profession.
