It’s Student Scholarship Open Season at the PA Foundation

The PA Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2016 student scholarship cycle. PA Foundation scholarships are awarded to PA students with a record of high academic performance who demonstrate a passion for the PA profession and health care-related community service.

There are 14 opportunities available across six scholarship programs this year with awards ranging from $1,000 to $2,500. Scholarships include those designed for students who are underrepresented minorities, economically/educationally disadvantaged, or from rural areas. To qualify, applicants must:

• Attend an ARC-PA–accredited PA program
• Be a student member of AAPA
• Have successfully completed at least one semester of PA studies
• Be in good academic standing

Additional eligibility criteria and application instructions are provided on the PA Foundation website. Applications will be accepted online through August 31.
