Student “Hotspotting” Learning Collaborative
For the third year, the Interprofessional Student Hotspotting Learning Collaborative will give students the opportunity to learn how to identify patients with multiple complex health conditions who are high-utilizers of care. Presented by the American Association of Medical Colleges, the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers, and Primary Care Progress, the six-month project will enable participants to better understand the root cause of their patients’ health care issues and how socio-demographic factors may play a role.
As many as 10 new schools will be accepted into the 2016 collaborative. Teams can be comprised of a wide range of professions, including PA, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, social work, public health, psychology, epidemiology, biomedical science, occupational therapy, health administration, medical dietetics, community health, and business. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Final notifications will be sent out by Friday, May 20.
