Student-Centered Learning in Times of Crisis

Throughout the year, PA programs offer asynchronous learning opportunities for their students, work with students at distant campuses, and also provide some of their program content online. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, more programs are challenged to think about moving additional curriculum online for the first time, while continuing to provide a quality education for students.

To provide a platform for resources and conversations beyond those happening at your institution, PAEA has created a Remote Teaching Channel within the Digital Learning Hub (DLH) to complement resources being provided by your campus teaching and learning center. If this is your first time visiting the DLH, fill out this form to sign up for a new account. We encourage your contributions to this new channel as well.

Additionally, PAEA is in the initial stages of planning several webinars exclusively for our membership over the next two months. They will explore student-centered practices around teaching and communicating remotely, as well as students learning from each other’s experiences. Stay tuned for a schedule to be announced soon.
