The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free, six-week summer enrichment program focused on improving access to information and resources for college students interested in the health professions.

The program helps to enhance students’ academic proficiency and career development opportunities in a health profession and prepare them for successful application and matriculation to health professions schools.

While the program is tailored to underrepresented minorities who identify as African American/Black, American Indian and Alaska Native, or Hispanic/Latino and who are from communities of socioeconomic and educational disadvantage, everyone is welcome to apply.

The Physician Assistant Education Association is a proud supporter of the SHPEP program and we are excited to announce that the summer 2018 program is now accepting applications through February 15.

Check out the flier, brochure, and their website to learn more about the SHPEP summer experience. You can also connect with them on Facebook and Twitter.
