Shoot for the (Research) STARs
PAEA’s Support to Advance Research (STAR) Program is now accepting proposals. Developed by the PAEA Research Mission Advancement Council (RMAC), the STAR Program allows faculty of PAEA member programs to submit up to 10 questions (including all branching questions) for inclusion in the annual Program Survey, which is administered to all PAEA member program directors.
Following the close of the 2018 Program Survey and any follow-up conducted, the researcher will receive de-identified data from their questions. As part of the submission, faculty members may request other variable fields from the 2018 Program Survey to be included in the data they receive. However, the data requested must be directly related to the proposal’s research question(s), must not identify programs, and will be up to the discretion of PAEA Research Team and the RMAC.
Proposals should be emailed to Nikki Frias at research@PAEAonline.org by Wednesday, January 31, 2018. More information about the program, submission instructions, and formatting requirements can be found on PAEA’s website.
Any questions should be addressed to PAEA Research Team at research@PAEAonline.org or 703-667-4353.
