The Search for Health Equity Leaders
Applications are now being accepted for the Leaders for Health Equity (LHE) Fellowship Program. This program, supported by The Atlantic Philanthropies and the George Washington University Health Workforce Institute, is designed to advance the skills of “global leaders who understand the foundations of health inequity and have the knowledge, skills, and courage to build more equitable health systems and organizations.”
Specifically, Fellows will learn and work in the areas of disparities, leadership, network building, and inequality. They will also be required to participate in three in-person convenings throughout the year (for a total of a 4-week commitment) as well as an online curriculum that includes webinars, mentoring, and team-based learning.
Individuals are eligible if they are:
- Early to mid-career professionals
- Currently engaged in health-related work
- Experienced with social accountability issues
- Currently in leadership or in a position with potential for leadership
The deadline to apply is July 15. To learn more or apply, visit the Fellowship’s website.
