Scholars Program Open to PA Students
The Association for Prevention Teaching and Research is once again accepting applications for the Paul Ambrose Scholars Program, and graduate PA students are encouraged to apply. Since 2002, this well-known program has been encouraging and inspiring tomorrow’s leaders in the health professions.
Over a one-year period, scholars will complete a community-based project that addresses health promotion or disease prevention, participate in online engagement and learning, and attend the Student Leadership Symposium on April 5–7 in Savannah, Georgia.
Last year, five of the 40 scholars were PA students — and we’d love to see even more this year. Applications are due by Friday, December 2, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Visit the program’s website for more information or to apply.
