Pediatric Scholars Program Open to PAs for First Time
The Educational Scholars Program (ESP), sponsored by the American Pediatric Association, is a faculty development program for academic pediatricians who wish to build their skills in educational scholarship — and now, for the first time, PAs are welcome to apply. Selected scholars will commit 10% FTE to the program over three years and, during that time, learn how to develop, implement, evaluate, and disseminate educational interventions through a creative, planned, and rigorous process.
The ESP is an ideal way to gain additional training to succeed as an educator and join a community of other dedicated educators, without a separate fellowship or degree program.
Currently, the ESP is recruiting its next cohort for a May 2016 start date. The deadline for applications is October 1st, with selected scholars to be announced December 1st.
