PA Student Chosen to Present at National Conference
Cherryl Matias, a PA student at the University of Southern California, was chosen as a 2015 Primary Care Leadership Program scholar. More recently, her independent service-learning project was one of just four selected to be presented to a panel of community health center leaders from across the U.S. during the National Association of Community Health Centers Community Health Institute & Expo in Orlando. This event is the nation’s largest annual gathering of community health center managers, clinicians, employees, board members, and leaders.
Matias’ project was titled “Barriers to Utilizing the YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program.” Learn more.
