Important Dates for PAEA Assessment
It’s a busy time for PAEA Assessment as we make sure everything is in top shape for the end of the semester. Here are some important dates to keep in mind:
- PACKRAT™ Version 23 publication. Version 23 has been live since Friday, November 2. However, you may have noticed some missing data on your score reports. National averages will be added to your performance reports and student score reports after 300 administrations of the new form, which generally happens in late November. We will publish a short article when that happens.
- Veteran’s Day limited service. In observance of Veteran’s Day, we will be closed on Monday, November 12. As such, we will not be allowing the administration of exams on this day. Limited customer service will be available for purchasing, set-up, scheduling, and scoring questions.
- Security updates. During the evening of Monday, November 19, we will be taking the ExamDriver system down for some system security enhancements. Most of you will not notice a difference as all of the changes are infrastructure-related. However, for those of you who use browsers that do not update automatically (such as Internet Explorer and Safari), we ask that you and/or your IT departments check for updates before your next exam administration. Google Chrome and Firefox, our most commonly used browsers, update automatically and should be fine. But if you use a lectern computer to proctor, or if your students use a computer lab with limited browser options, please check on this.
As always, you can reach us at exams@PAEAonline.org if you have any questions.
