Health Policy Fellowship Program
The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) and AcademyHealth are now accepting applications for their Health Policy Fellowship Program.
Statistical information plays an important role in informing actions and policies to improve the health of individuals and communities. With this guiding principle, NCHS and AcademyHealth developed the NCHS/AcademyHealth Health Policy Fellowship Program. The program is designed to encourage the use of NCHS data systems and programs by the health services research community in response to current health policy questions, and provide a basis for future health policy.
The selected fellow will work on-site at the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) for one year and acquire first-hand experience conducting studies to address important issues in health policy.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and have at least five years of postdoctoral research experience. Those interested in applying must submit their intent to apply in order to receive a full application, which will be due by January 1.
