FDA Curriculum Added to PAEA’s Digital Learning Hub
With input from PAEA member program faculty, the US Food and Drug Administration has published a new open-source curriculum on biosimilars. This curriculum is now available in the PAEA Digital Learning Hub.
The curriculum combines learning materials (slide decks, information sheets, discussion questions, and cases) and videos. It is intended for students and practicing health care professionals alike and is designed to educate and improve understanding of interchangeable biosimilar products and the regulatory approval pathway in the U.S.
Reamer L. Bushardt, PharmD, PA-C, who shared this resource, said, “It would be a great addition to any PA pharmacotherapeutics or foundations of medicine coursework. I am delighted with the outcome of this work and excited about the role of PA educators in informing the FDA’s efforts to build an accessible, high-impact toolkit.”
