Don Pedersen Research Grant: Applications Close October 31
Are you an early-career PA faculty member with a passion for research? Be sure to submit your proposal for the 2021 Don Pedersen Research Grant by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 31.
The program encourages research about both PA education and PA workforce issues. It is intended to foster PA faculty development in research, supports early-career PA faculty and proposals that address PAEA’s priority areas:
- Increasing capacity in clinical education
- Attracting and retaining students and faculty from diverse backgrounds
Several grants of up to $7,000 may be awarded, with a total possible allotment of $21,000.
Preference will favor:
- PA faculty who are early-career or new to research who have not been previously funded by another PAEA research grant program
- PA faculty who are early-career or new to research who partner with senior researcher co-investigators
Applications must be submitted through the PAEA Research online application platform no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 31, 2021. You may view a user guide for the application platform here.
