Outstanding Student Fellowship Opportunities
We are currently accepting applications for the PAEA Future Educator Fellowship and the Student Health Policy Fellowship. Both fellowship programs are great opportunities for PA students to get involved at the national level and continue their lifelong learning. These programs offer students the development they will need to position themselves as successful leaders within their community.
Future Educator Fellowship. This fellowship provides PA students interested in a future career as PA educators a better understanding of PA education and academic careers. The fellowship builds foundational skills in teaching and learning, offers exposure to the current educational environment, and provides leadership development. The yearlong program starts with an intensive two-day student track during the 2017 Education Forum in Denver, consists of a year of interspersed learning and mentoring activities, and concludes with a final two days at the 2018 Education Forum in Anaheim, California. Apply through July 14, 2017.
Student Health Policy Fellowship. This fellowship enhances PA students’ understanding of political processes and health policy by inspiring grassroots advocacy that promotes the PA profession as an integral part of the health care system. The program consists of a three-day intensive workshop in Washington, DC, with projects completed under the mentorship of PA faculty. Apply through July 7, 2017.

Women, underrepresented minorities, and people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply for both fellowship opportunities.
