ACU Conference – Call for Abstracts
The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved is now accepting proposals for its Annual Conference, scheduled for July 31 – August 3, in Washington, D.C.
This conference will bring together hundreds of clinical leaders from across the country with key federal officials, all with an interest in expanding access and improving care for the underserved. The 2016 theme is “Transdisciplinary Care Across the Health Care Continuum.”
Educational Sessions and Poster Sessions should focus on one of four clinical areas — mental and behavioral health, oral health, pharmacy, and primary medical care — and incorporate as many of the following categories as appropriate:
- Clinical Education
- Cultural Competency
- Health IT
- Patient Engagement
- Policy/Advocacy
- Recruitment & Retention
- Team-Based Care
