2022 PAEA Virtual Fairs

As we kick off the new year, PAEA is launching the 2022 PA Program Virtual Fair registration! Both fairs will take place on the CareerEco platform, but we’ve made a few changes to the events that we are excited to share with you.

First, this year’s events will take place Saturday, April 9, 2022, and Saturday, July 23. With the wellness of program faculty in mind – and to facilitate increased participation – we intentionally changed the format to a Saturday. We realize that it is sometimes difficult for PA faculty and staff to choose between teaching and administrative commitments to work the fair. There are also a significant number of student attendees that cannot join the virtual fairs until the evening (during the weekdays) because of classes or work. Having the fairs on Saturday should increase student attendance and student engagement with our programs’ virtual booths.  

Second, we have rebranded the July PA Virtual Fair as the PA Diversity Recruitment Virtual Fair. This change brings us in closer alignment with PAEA’s Mission to advance excellence in PA education through leadership, scholarship, equity, and inclusion by enhancing our programs’ capability to recruit, select, and retain well-qualified PA students. PAEA is committed to working with our PA programs to increase the number of Underrepresented in Medicine PA students. Our PA Diversity Recruitment Virtual Fair can help us get there.
