It’s Survey Time! (You’ll Thank Us Later)
Program Survey
Last week, the 2015 Program Survey was sent to all PAEA member program directors. This annual survey, which is mandatory of all member programs, collects important data on programs, faculty, staff, and students.
To help program directors complete the 2015 survey, this year you can copy your answers! Previous responses to the 2014 Program Survey can be requested from Research Manager Rachel Hamann at rhamann@PAEAonline.org.
Curriculum Survey
After a brief hiatus, the PAEA Research Council and staff have brought back the Curriculum Survey, which program directors also recently received in their inboxes. Last administered in 2010 and published in 2012, the survey collects detailed information about programs’ curricula. In an attempt to reduce the burden on our members, the survey will be released in three parts:
- 2015: Academic prerequisites; service and experience requirements
- 2016: Didactic phase of programs’ curriculum
- 2017: Supervised clinical training
Easier Than Ever
We know that filling out surveys can be time consuming for program directors, so we make every effort to simplify the process.
Attached to each request email was a PDF of the questionnaire for program directors to review before beginning the survey. This enables programs to collect data from different departments or assign other faculty or staff to complete specific parts of the survey.

Programs that submit and complete both surveys by Wednesday, July 29, will be entered into a drawing for one complimentary registration to the 2015 Education Forum this November in Washington, D.C.
