How Do You Compare to Faculty Nationwide?

For our annual PA Program Faculty and Directors Survey, we crunch numbers on everything from demographics and job satisfaction to past employment and current salary. We’ve just released the 2015 report, available to members only. Among our findings:

• Over 58% of faculty provide some type of volunteer services. (Table 48)

• Nearly 50% of all faculty have been published. (Table 45)

• In addition to their program duties, 86% of faculty and 94% of program directors work clinically for an average of 8-9 hours a week. Among faculty and program directors who work clinically, the highest percentage practice in family/general medicine. (Tables 35/36)–
