Welcome to New PAEA Staff

Ryan Chitwood

Ryan joined PAEA on January 7 as our new research and data analyst. As a member of the Research team, he will be responsible for analyzing data and creating reports on PA applicants, students, faculty, and programs. He comes to PAEA from the University of Georgia, his alma mater, where he worked as a research coordinator for two professors of wildlife ecology.

Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at UGA, where he conducted field studies of migratory songbirds. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys lifting weights, trying out new recipes, and spending time outdoors.

Melissa Bradley

Melissa Bradley is PAEA’s first-ever financial analyst manager. In this role, she will work on expense reports, budgets, and variances, as well as provide recommendations to improve budgeting accuracy.

Originally from Chicago, Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami followed by a graduate degree from the College of William & Mary. She worked in public accounting for several years before moving into the nonprofit realm and brings with her significant experience working with federal and private grants, general ledger accounting, and budgets.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with her family. With a 3-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old dog (half lab, half chow), she and her husband spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors.

Isabelle Jones

As PAEA’s new administrative associate for Member Experience, Isabelle will be responsible for organizing volunteer meetings, helping manage customer service, maintaining Pi Alpha, and providing support to the Member Experience team.

Isabelle graduated from Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. An active member of her sorority, she served as music chairman and continues to stay involved through event planning and philanthropy. In her spare time, she likes to bake, dance, volunteer at the Kennedy Center, play kickball on the mall, and binge-watch “The Office.”
