Vote in AAPA Special Election, Consider Candidates’ Views on Education
The AAPA special election for secretary-treasurer opens tomorrow, June 29. All PA educators who are also AAPA members are encouraged to vote and, while doing so, to consider which candidates are likely to be most sensitive to the impact of their decisions on PA education. As the PA profession tackles important issues like the implementation of optimal team practice, it will be vital for the AAPA Board, representing more than 100,000 practicing PAs, to consider the educational implications of its decisions — as well as to work collaboratively with PAEA on these issues.
The special election will take place from June 29–July 7. The election is to fill the position of secretary-treasurer, which was vacated when incumbent Jonathan Sobel was elected president-elect.
