Volunteers Needed for Project Access at AAPA Conference
This year’s AAPA Conference is being held in Las Vegas, and PAEA has planned several visits as part of our Project Access outreach program on May 16–18. We are now seeking volunteers to visit the schools.
Project Access is an outreach recruitment program that aims to encourage middle and high school students from underrepresented minority groups to consider the PA profession as a career. In Las Vegas, we will visit seven following schools for a total of 12 presentations, reaching approximately 700 students:
Tuesday, May 16
- West Preparatory Academy (5 presentations)
- Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy
- Southeast Career Technical Academy
Wednesday, May 17
- Valley High School
- Delta Academy
Thursday, May 18
- Rancho High School (2 presentations)
- Chaparral High School
