Volunteer with Project Access at the AAPA Conference

Will you be in New Orleans for the AAPA conference in May? If so, we’ll see you soon! While we’re there, PAEA will be coordinating several Project Access site visits to local high schools — and we’re looking for volunteer facilitators to go with us.

Project Access is an outreach initiative designed to inspire and motivate underrepresented minority youth to pursue a career as a PA. During the AAPA conference, we are seeking PA educators and students who would like to get involved and share their own stories with New Orleans-area high school students.

We are planning to schedule visits on Monday, May 21, and Tuesday, May 22. If you’re interested in volunteering for Project Access, please use this form to let us know. (Note that completing this form is not a commitment, only an expression of interest.)

There will be a kick-off meeting on Sunday, May 20, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. at the conference hotel. During the meeting, volunteers will meet members of their team of presenters, review the presentation materials, and pick up giveaways.

If you have any questions, please contact Danielle Di Silvestro at projectaccess@PAEAonline.org.
