Register Now for Project Access at the 2017 AAPA Conference
Planning for Project Access at the AAPA conference in Las Vegas is officially underway. If you’re unfamiliar, Project Access is an outreach program that takes representatives from the PA profession to high schools to give an interactive and informative presentation to students who may be interested in a health professions career. It’s designed to inspire and motivate underrepresented minority youth to pursue a career as a PA. The program also addresses the social and economic barriers faced by minority pre-teens, teens, and young adults today.
The presentations will take place at local high schools (within 25 minutes of the host hotel) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, May 16-18. Presentations generally last between 45 minutes and an hour. If you’re interested, please sign up here.
