PA Foundation Scholarship Recipients

The PA Foundation recently announced the recipients of its 2015 student scholarships, which are awarded to underrepresented minority students and those who are economically and/or educationally disadvantaged. Recipients were selected based on their understanding of the PA role, what they expect to accomplish as a PA, and relevant volunteer/community service activities.

For the 2015 cycle, the foundation awarded funding totaling $32,000 to 18 PA students. Since the program’s inception, more than $1 million in scholarships have been awarded, benefitting more than 1,400 future PAs. The 2015 recipients are:

Bristol-Myers Squibb Endowed Scholarship

NCCPA Endowed Scholarship

  • Jennifer Demoss – Marshall B. Ketchum University

  • Jamie Ruddy – Duke University
  • Raymond Schultz – University of Iowa

Procter & Gamble Endowed Scholarship

  • Jeremy Barnhart – University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio
  • Ruth Legesse – University of California, Davis
  • Crystal Osborn – Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences
