New Year, New Staff
Recently, PAEA welcomed two new staff members to our team. If you attend any PAEA events this year, you’ll likely have the pleasure of meeting them in person, but until then…
Ashley Bray
Ashley grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and graduated in 2012 from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. Through internships and previous jobs, she has been able to grow her passion for nonprofit work, event management, and collaboration.
As the project manager for leadership and organizational development, Ashley is responsible for the planning, logistics, and oversight of leadership events, including the Leadership Summit, Leadership Labs, and staff leadership development efforts. She will be working with stakeholders, volunteers, staff, and outside partners on faculty leadership development, member engagement, and PAEA staff professional development.
Currently, Ashley is based in central Texas, where she lives with her husband, who is in the military, and two cats. In her spare time, she loves to bake, see new movies, take mini road trips on the weekends with her husband, and travel to new countries and island beaches.
Joslyn Hanna, MPS
Joslyn earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary education and English at Kansas State University. Following graduation, she taught high school language arts. After a career transition and completion of her master’s degree in publishing from George Washington University, she shifted gears to focus on business and marketing — most recently working on corporate event and meeting planning, marketing, and project management for American City Business Journals.
As program manager of educational programming, Joslyn is primarily focused on developing and executing the PAEA Education Forum, helping to design and deliver high-quality, innovative educational experiences that impact the PA profession and the lives of students.
In her spare time, Joslyn enjoys being outdoors with her three pups, as well as photography, reading, traveling, and working out.
