Join Our New Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program
Join our inaugural 2015 Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program at this year’s Education Forum. Developed by the Faculty Development Council, the program aims to connect faculty, either one on one or in small groups, based on their unique needs and interests. But please don’t expect a traditional junior-senior mentoring program!
We aim to create a new and innovative mentoring model that is better suited to meet the needs of PA faculty, and we encourage all levels of faculty to participate. We want to create a community that generates different perspectives, delivering an experience beyond what individual members or mentors are able to provide.
We are looking for up to 60 people to participate in the initial rollout of this program. We’ll hold a welcome reception on the evening of Friday, November 13, and an intensive 60- to 90-minute workshop over lunch on Saturday, November 14.
**UPDATE September 18, 2015 – Registration is now closed for this program; we have reached capacity. Thank you for your interest! **
To register, please complete this one-time survey to help us better understand how you define mentoring, what you are looking for in a mentoring program, and how we can facilitate those relationships. Once registration is complete, we’ll tailor the program to meet the needs of our participants.
The deadline to register is Thursday, October 1st. We’ll send you confirmation and logistical information after registration is closed. Questions? Contact Academic Affairs Assistant Chief Olivia Ziegler at oziegler@PAEAonline.org.
