National Health Service Corps Students to Service Loan Repayment Program Accepting Applications
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has announced that it is now accepting applications for the 2023 National Health Service Corps Students to Service (S2S) Loan Repayment Program.
The S2S program, originally developed by HRSA in 2012, is designed to strengthen access to primary care services in underserved communities by providing educational loan repayment assistance to participating clinicians. In exchange for a three-year full-time service commitment in a designated health professional shortage area, participants are eligible to receive up to $120,000 in financial assistance. While the program has historically been limited to medical and dental students, eligibility for the S2S program was extended to PA students in the final year of their program beginning with the 2022 application cycle.
HRSA will host two virtual Q&A sessions about the program on November 8 and November 22.
S2S program applications are due by December 1, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Find the S2S program application and supporting information for applicants on the HRSA website.
