First PA to Receive Prestigious Award

Please join us in a round of applause for Don Pedersen, PhD, PA, who became the first PA ever to receive the 2018 Distinguished Service Award from the University of Utah School of Medicine (SOM) Alumni Association. Pedersen served in the medical school as PA program director and chief of the division of PA studies. This award, presented to him in October at the SOM Alumni Banquet, recognizes Pedersen for his four decades of service to the University of Utah.
