Healthy People, Healthy Ecosystems
Registration is now open for the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) conference. This year’s event will take place in Washington, DC, on April 7–9, with satellite sessions on April 6.
The CUGH Global Health Conference is a gathering of more than 1,700 faculty, students, and leaders from around the world aimed at exploring “the latest in global health, planetary health, and the role universities play in addressing global health challenges.”
Specifically, this year’s theme is “Healthy People, Healthy Ecosystems: Implementation, Leadership, and Sustainability in Global Health.” Featured session topics will include:
- Governance and political decision-making
- Health systems and human resources
- Infectious diseases and their implications for global health
- NCDs and social determinants of health
- Planetary health
- Women’s health
