Grants Available for New Health Services Investigators

AcademyHealth is now accepting applications for their New Investigator Small Grant Program, which seeks to help those in the early years of their health services career. Specifically, AcademyHealth is looking to fund “innovative, timely, and relevant research and/or translation activities that advance the vision of AcademyHealth of improving health and the performance of the healthcare system by generating evidence and moving evidence into policy and practice.”

Among other criteria, applicants must:

• Be a member of AcademyHealth
• Have completed a doctoral degree in the past three years and be engaged in health services research, or have completed post-doctoral training in health services or policy research within three years
• Obtain a letter of support from their institution
