Get to Know the Four National PA Organizations
For 55 years, PAs have answered one of the nation’s highest callings – to provide high-quality, accessible care to America’s patients. The commitment that each of you show to your patients is one of the hallmarks of the PA profession, and is just one of the reasons why 93.9% of patients report being very satisfied or satisfied with the care they received from a PA, and also why 88.4 % of patients say that they are very likely or likely to see a PA again for their medical needs.
At a time when many healthcare professionals have considered or are opting to leave medicine, the PA profession remarkably continues to grow, adding over 10,000 new PAs to the workforce each year.
From the start of your PA journey in selecting an accredited PA program, PA studies and through certification and becoming an active advocate and steward of the profession, the four national PA organizations (ARC-PA, AAPA, NCCPA and PAEA) play an integral role in your career, and endeavor to support you in every step of the way.
