Fellowship Opportunity for Doctoral Candidates
Are you enrolled in a doctoral program and working on a dissertation focused on PAs or the PA profession? Apply now for funding support through the PA Foundation’s Breitman-Dorn Research Fellowship – now in its 20th year!
This fellowship, established through a generous donation from Jerald A. Breitman in memory of his partner Stephen Dorn, provides financial assistance for doctoral candidates who are contributing to research on the PA profession or the influence of PAs on medical care.
Doctoral candidates of any discipline whose research addresses the role or contributions of PAs in health care are eligible to apply for this $4,500 cash award. It is not a requirement that the research focus exclusively on PAs or the PA profession.
Visit the PA Foundation website to learn more and apply online. Also, be sure to check out the 20th anniversary report featuring past recipients and their career paths since receiving the award. Applications are due August 16.
