Fellowship Award for Preceptors/Mentors Now Accepting Nominations
Are you passionate about improving access to primary care for underserved populations – or know another PA who is? Apply or nominate someone for the PA Foundation’s William H. Marquardt Community Health Access Fellowship. This $2,500 award recognizes PAs serving in mentoring and/or precepting roles who are dedicated to promoting accessible primary and preventive health care among underserved populations and who inspire future PAs to follow in their footsteps.
Applicants/nominees must:
- Be members in good standing of AAPA
- Have an employment history reflecting a strong focus in primary care
- Demonstrate a strong history of participation in community health initiatives
- Demonstrate experience of collaborative work with other health care providers
Self-nominations, as well as nominations by individuals seeking to recognize preceptors/mentors, will be accepted. The deadline to apply is September 11. Learn more and apply or nominate someone on the PA Foundation website.
