On Saturday, June 10, colleagues from across the PA and medical worlds gathered to celebrate the life of Donald Fisher, PhD, the first executive director of the association that is now PAEA. His most recent role was as president and CEO of AMGA, a position he had held since 1980. Don passed away earlier this year on March 26 at the age of 71.

It was a bittersweet event as Don’s family and friends, along with his former colleagues, spent an evening reminiscing about his life and his many accomplishments. To learn more about Don and his legacy, please read his comprehensive biography from the PA History Society.
