PAEA’s Committee on Clinical Education has developed an issue brief covering the impact that state authorization has on PA education, including important things you need to know for successfully moving forward in this new environment.
State authorization has become a hot-button issue in the education sector over the past few years as state authorization requirements have rapidly been established across the country. Despite the US Department of Education backing down from enforcing the requirements, states began developing and implementing their own sets of regulations. For higher education, especially health professions education, this has become problematic for a number of reasons.
